Effective November 17, 2000, the Texas Service Center has instituted a new procedure to replace I-20s lost when a Change of Status to F-1 has been approved.

The precise instructions from the Service Center are listed below as well as the Lost I-20 Inquiry Form, which you should print out and copy on pink paper, double-sided as directed.

VERY IMPORTANT:

The Inquiry Form MUST be printed double-sided on PINK paper.

The color paper is extremely important as that determines how the mail is routed within the Service Center. If it is not printed on pink paper as directed, your inquiry will not go to the correct destination and will not get a response.
