Internationalizing the Campus 2021

NAFSA's 19th annual report cites exemplary practices, model approaches, and major trends shaping the current state of international education on U.S. campuses.

Five institutions, from a strong and diverse set of nominees, were chosen to receive the Senator Paul Simon Award for Comprehensive Internationalization in 2021 and are profiled in depth in this report:

• Davidson-Davie Community College
• Florida International University
• Leigh University
• Santa Fe College
• University of Texas at Austin

Three institutions received the Senator Paul Simon Spotlight Award for their outstanding accomplishments in specific areas of internationalization.

• Indiana University-Bloomington
• Miami Dade College
• University of North Carolina Wilmington
