Global Partner sessions are not intended for commercial promotion. Like NAFSA’s general conference sessions, Global Partner sessions are intended to reflect the best thinking in the field, informed by theory, research, and practice, and cognizant of issues of diversity and inclusion.

Global Partner sessions should:

  • Provide insight on current trends affecting the field
  • Engage with conference attendees on thought leadership
  • Discuss innovation and cutting-edge content
  • Stimulate discussion and audience engagement
  • Present specific content to targeted audiences
  • Highlight technological advances impacting international education

Specific topics of interest for 2023 include:

  • Successful uses of technology
  • Risk management
  • Crisis management
  • Credential evaluation
  • Assessment of programs and services
  • Health and Wellbeing

Submit your Global Partner session by 5:00 p.m. EST on December 15, 2022.

The online submission portal is open from October 17 - December 15, 2022. For any questions, contact the Global Partnership team.

Already Submitted a General Session?

If your general session proposal is not accepted, you can opt to move your proposal to the Global Partner session submission system. To do this, contact the Global Partnership team with your four-digit proposal identification number and request to be moved to the Global Partner session submission portal. 

Notices of acceptance or rejection of a general conference session proposal will arrive in late November. Please note that Global Partners interested in moving a rejected general session proposal to the Global Partner session submission system will receive feedback from the Annual Conference Committee review process to ensure that your Global Partner session submission is aligned with NAFSA's educational content standards and provides the best possible experience for Global Partner presenters and session attendees. 

Terms of Agreement and Payment
All Global Partners will be invoiced once a Global Partner session has been reviewed. NAFSA reserves the right to review to ensure quality of content.
