Join NAFSA and save $300 USD on your conference registration as an Individual, International, Group, or New member. If you have never been a NAFSA member, your first year of membership is only $199 USD. NAFSA membership provides you with unmatched access to resources and savings throughout the year.
Student members and Retired Professional members save $624 on conference registration.
Volunteer at NAFSA 2024
More than 200 volunteers are needed each year to help make the NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo a success. Volunteering is a great way to network while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the conference. Based on documented hours worked, volunteers may be reimbursed 50-100 percent of the general conference registration fee paid. Learn more about volunteer opportunities and reimbursement.
NAFSA 2024 Hotels
NAFSA encourages all attendees to reserve a hotel room within the official conference hotel block. Early-Bird Registration Ends: April 17, 2024
Early-bird registration rates expire at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).

Regular Registration Begins: April 18, 2024
Regular registration rates commence at 12:00 a.m. (EDT).

Regular registration rates expire at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).
On-Site Registration Begins: May 26, 2024
On-site registration opens at 7:30 a.m. (EDT). Online registration will also be open.
On-Site Registration Closes: May 31, 2024
Registration closes at 12:00 p.m. (EDT).

2024 Letter of Invitation
To request an invitation letter as a visa requirement, please complete the Invitation Letter Form. All requests will be screened for approval. See more information about letter of invitation requests.
Executive Invitation
If you have registered for the NAFSA Conference and hold the position of Senior International Officer (SIO) or Provost, invite your president to join you at the NAFSA 2024 Annual Conference & Expo for free! This opportunity provides your president with complimentary registration, VIP access to plenary speakers and seating at special events, an invitation to an exclusive gathering with the executive leadership at NAFSA, and a guided tour of the expo hall. Complete the form to apply for complimentary registration for your institution's president (proof of NAFSA conference registration required).
Registration by Mail
To register by mail only, complete the NAFSA 2024 Registration Form and return it with your check to the address printed on the form.

As we welcome our participants to our in-person event in New Orleans, Louisiana, please be advised NAFSA bookstore and registration will be cashless again this year. Payment can be made with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, institutional and personal checks.

Media Pass Policy
The complimentary NAFSA Media Pass is limited to working journalists at news media outlets with an established record of producing original, news-focused editorial coverage and is intended for the express purpose of gathering news and information to produce media coverage of the conference itself. Safety Information
NAFSA has prioritized the health and safety of all attendees in planning the 2024 Annual Conference & Expo. We are working with the New Orleans Ernest M. Morial Convention Center, and local and federal authorities to ensure all health and safety regulations are followed. We will post updates to mandates and precautions regularly.
