Rebecca Geffner, DBA

Moroccan-American Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange

Dr. Rebecca Geffner has been working in international business and education for almost 20 years. She has served as the Executive Director of the Moroccan-American Commission for Educational and Cultural Exchange (MACECE) which oversees the Fulbright programs between Morocco and the United States since 2018.

Previously she oversaw Al Akhawayn University’s (AUI) Executive Education Center in Casablanca and managed the Executive MBA program at Africa Business School at University Mohamed VI Polytechnic. Before coming to Morocco, she was the Director of International and Executive Programs and the Center for International Business Education and Research at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, managing programs and partnerships spread over 5 continents. Rebecca currently serves on the Advisory Council of AUI’s School of Business Administration, the Board of Directors for George Washington Academy in Casablanca, and the editorial review board of Emerald Emerging Market Case Studies. She has been a lecturer and workshop facilitator on international business, leadership, and innovation. She works closely with several African start-up companies as an advisory board member or partner. She is also the founder and CEO of RBG, LLC, which provides consulting and executive training. Dr. Geffner holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University, a master’s in international affairs from Columbia University, and a doctorate in business administration from Ecole de Ponts Business School in Paris.
