Esther Brimmer recieves IIE award

NAFSA is pleased to announce that the organization was named a Centennial Medalist from the Institute of International Education (IIE) as part of their 100-year anniversary celebration. NAFSA was recognized for its ongoing commitment and work advancing the values and mission of international education throughout the world as a way to build a more interconnected and peaceful.

Dr. Esther Brimmer, NAFSA Executive Director and CEO, accepted the IIE Centennial Medal from Allan E. Goodman, President and Chief Executive Officer of IIE on February 19, 2019 at the IIE Summit in New York.

Throughout 2019, IIE will confer Centennial Medals to organizations and individuals for their contributions to the field of international education through government service; academic exchange leadership; global mobility leadership; philanthropic excellence; and corporate support for the advancement of international education and relations.
