The Keep Innovators in America Act represents a critical step forward in the effort to protect from elimination a program that benefits the U.S. economy, domestic workforce, and international students seeking a full academic experience in this country. Urge your representative to cosponsor this bipartisan legislation.

The administration’s recent actions against international students and scholars threaten to drive away the next generation of global leaders, innovators, and allies. Urge your members of Congress to support the Keep STEM Talent Act, to enable the United States to compete for global talent. 

The United States’ national security, economic competitiveness, and global leadership are all advanced by the international education and exchange programs of the Departments of State and Education. These programs are now threatened by withdrawn funds, staff lay-offs and the president's FY27 budget request. Urge your members of Congress to fully fund the vital programs of the State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and the Title VI and Fulbright-Hays programs at the Department of Education.

Newly released data from the U.S. Department of State reveals that F-1 student visa issuance in the summer of 2025 dropped by 36 percent. The United States cannot afford to turn away the world's best and brightest talent. It is bad for our domestic students' education, our country's economy, and our preeminence in research and innovation. Urge Congress to press the Department of State to prioritize visa appointments and processing for international students and scholars and exempt them from the travel ban.
