About the authors:
Jolynn Shoemaker is the director of global engagements in the Global Affairs unit at the University of California-Davis (UC Davis). In this role, she is leading efforts to integrate the United Nations SDGs into internationalization efforts and to engage members of the campus community in the Global Goals. She has supported numerous international initiatives for Global Affairs, including global strategic planning processes, regional engagement, and international agreements.
Joanna Regulska is vice provost and dean of the Global Affairs unit and professor of gender, sexuality, and women’s studies at UC Davis. Regulska has led large-scale programs that transform institutions, establish collaborative partnerships, and substantially improve globally focused services for more than 30 years.
