Innovation in Action
Transform Disruption into Possibility. Share Your Solution on the Global Stage.
The NAFSA 2027 Global Summit, The Buenos Aires Blueprint: Building Resilience for a Shared Future, is designed not simply as a place to respond to change, but as a collaborative engine to shape it. Grounded in the belief that the future will not be built by any one institution or country acting alone, the summit serves as a working laboratory for ideas, relationships, and solutions.
While macro-level strategies shape our institutional frameworks, the true catalysts for change are the creative, ground-level solutions designed by practitioners navigating disruption every day. To bring this laboratory to life, we are introducing Innovation in Action: 15 Minutes to Ignite Ideas Across Borders, a fast-paced, high-impact program segment showcasing the field’s most promising, practitioner-led initiatives
We invite global educators to move beyond traditional presentation models and submit proposals for 15-minute live presentations. These sessions are designed to spotlight scalable tools, challenge long-standing institutional assumptions, and share how your campus has responded to disruption not with retreat, but with creativity, courage, and collaboration.
Three themed rooms.
Three featured innovations per room.
One audience-selected favorite from each room.
Unlimited possibilities in this collaborative space to think boldly, learn deeply, and create collectively.
Submission Criteria
- Proposals must focus on applied practice and concrete outcomes rather than conceptual theory.
- Successful submissions will clearly demonstrate how an institution transformed uncertainty into opportunity.
- Team presentations are allowed, but the 15 minute restriction remains.
Proposal Submission Deadline: October 1, 2026
Submit a proposal today to showcase your ingenuity and inspire an international delegation committed to building a more resilient, interconnected world.
