NAFSA 2024 Hotels & Travel
NAFSA is pleased to offer our NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo attendees the opportunity to reserve a hotel room within the official NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo housing block in New Orleans, Louisiana, beginning February 28, 12:00pm EST. NAFSA has vetted and secured room blocks for the 2024 Annual Conference & Expo attendees and exhibitors at a variety of hotels in New Orleans to meet all tastes and budgets. Hotel reservations will be accepted until May 3, 2024 at 8:00pm EST or until the room block is sold out.
NAFSA is using Orchid Events the only official Housing Company for NAFSA, to coordinate hotel reservations for the conference. It is important to make your hotel reservations through Orchid Events as it benefits everyone when attendees utilize this service. By booking your hotel rooms in the official hotel block, attendees will receive:
- Discounted rates for the event at official meeting hotels.
- An immediate email acknowledgement of your hotel assignment.
- Guaranteed room reservation at an “official” NAFSA hotel
- Access to Orchid Event’s customer service who can assist with hotel reservations.
- Complimentary shuttle service between a number of hotels and the Convention Center
- Complimentary in-room access to Wi-Fi internet.

Important NAFSA Housing Policy: At initial hotel booking, NAFSA attendees have the option to reserve up to four rooms under the same name and/or email address. However, NAFSA requires individual guest names and unique email addresses for each reservation be provided to Orchid Events no later than Monday, April 1, 2024, at 12 noon EST. Any reservations not in compliance will be cancelled by Orchid Events according to the disclosure and terms and conditions outlined in the NAFSA reservation process.
