Adria Buncal

Adria Buncal serves as an International Scholar Advisor and H-1B Case Processor in the Office of International Services at Oregon State University, where she demonstrates sustained excellence in community based international education. In her role, she supports international scholars, employees, dependents, and Fulbright scholars while coordinating comprehensive orientation and outreach resources addressing immigration compliance, employment transitions, community living, and cultural adjustment. Adria develops and supports cultural programming that intentionally connects visiting scholars and their families with local organizations, services and volunteer networks, reflecting a long term commitment to reciprocal engagement between campus and community. She also served as a regional leader for the Knowledge Community for International Student and Scholar Services with NAFSA Region I, contributing professional leadership that strengthens community focused practices within the field.

Adria holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Western Washington University and an MSEd in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University, with a focus in International Education, and received the Oregon State University International Service Award in 2025 for her contributions to global engagement.
