Ahmed Alsinan

Ahmed Alsinan is the Head of Innovation for Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Saudi Arabia, where he leads national-scale digital transformation programs focused on Generative AI, Agentic AI, and human-centered innovation. He works across Saudi ministries, healthcare systems, aviation, education, and smart city sectors to design AI solutions that improve access, equity, and citizen experience.

With a background spanning Stanford University and Rutgers University, Dr. Alsinan has more than 14 years of experience building multimodal AI systems and developing large-scale data and vision-language platforms applied across public-sector and enterprise environments. Before joining AWS, he co-led national AI initiatives through the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and directed collaborative research with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

Dr. Alsinan is passionate about the intersection of ethics, culture, and technology, ensuring that AI systems amplify human dignity and expand opportunity. He regularly collaborates with global teams across AWS to introduce responsible and scalable innovation mechanisms that empower organizations to design the future with purpose.
