Akshay Chaturvedi is a tech entrepreneur who founded and runs Leverage, an AI-enabled platform that empowers young individuals with upward mobility options globally. The Co offers universities & counsellors an AI product-suite that helps them with student recruitment, and alongside, offers a living stack to these students across financing, remittance, part-time housing & early-career opportunities.
Incubated by DFJ Ventures’ Tim Draper in Silicon Valley, Leverage over last 9 years raised just under $50Mn from leading global investors, to become amongst the top 5 global leaders in its space. It operates across 57 offices in 27 global cities, with a team of 800+ people, and an industry-best NPS / success score.
An ISB Hyderabad graduate and now Board Member of its Entrepreneurship School, Akshay was just this year inducted as a Fellow at St. George’s House, Windsor Castle, founded in the 60s by Prince Edward. He is also a member of the core Founders’ Circle of British Asian Trust, a philanthropic initiative founded by His Majesty King Charles III to advance education and opportunity in South Asia. Previously, he was part of Forbes India & Asia 30U30 lists in 2020, Entrepreneur magazine’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2021, and led Leverage to become Deloitte’s Fastest Growing Companies in 2022. Outside work, he champions education equity through Padho India and leads an animal care initiative called BFDC, dedicated to his German Shepherd son Buzo, supporting shelters and dog welfare.
