Amanda Connolly

Amanda Connolly is Director of the Office of International Students & Scholars at Lehigh University. In this role, she oversees immigration compliance, programming to support cultural adjustment and inclusivity of international students and scholars, other support services to the international and campus community, and leads the OISS team. Amanda has been in the field of international student and scholar services for more than 15 years, and has worked at a variety of institutions in NAFSA Regions VII, XI and now VIII.  During her time in Region XI, she served as the KC-ISSS Representative and as a part of the Chair stream.  One of her greatest NAFSA memories/challenges was working with the Region XI team to transition from an in-person to a virtual regional conference during her chair year (2020)!  Amanda has been a member of Trainer Corps since 2016 and has trained all of the F and J workshops over the years. She is also a frequent presenter of sessions, primarily at regional conferences.
