Anaberly “Ana” Chaviano

"Anaberly “Ana” Chaviano serves as the Health Compliance Manager at Florida International University (FIU), where she oversees international student health insurance compliance and immunization requirements. With more than 14 years at FIU, Ana brings extensive experience supporting students through Florida Board of Governors compliance, CDC immunization guidelines, and alternative insurance plan reviews.

With a clinical background, Ana has been involved in student engagement since the start of her career. Her work focuses on policy development, compliance strategy, and improving operational workflows that support student success. Ana is also actively involved in professional leadership and service within the international education community and currently serves as a board member of the Florida Association of International Educators (FAIE).
