Ashley Sinclair
Ashley Sinclair is the Director of Global Engagement at Choate Rosemary Hall, where she oversees outgoing term abroad and short-term travel, international students, a globally focused signature program, and campus globalization initiatives. Since her time as an intern in Pitt's Study Abroad Office, her career has focused on improving access to global opportunities for underrepresented populations, including students of color, students with disabilities, STEM fields, student-athletes, and first-generation college or boarding school students. In prior roles at Lake Forest College, Illinois Institute of Technology, and the University of Pittsburgh, her purview included outgoing study abroad students, incoming J-1 exchange and F-1 students, and national scholarships. Ashley was involved in the pilot of the NAFSA Grassroots Leadership Program, where she focused on ways to increase language learning opportunities for students in the STEM fields. She received her MEd in social and comparative analysis in education from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her bachelor’s degree with a triple major in history, anthropology and sociology and a double minor in classics and religious studies, also from the University of Pittsburgh.
