Dr. Brandis Phillips is a professor of accounting whose research focuses on technology addiction and digital literacy. He has over 15 years of teaching experience, covering introductory accounting, accounting information systems, and MBA courses in managerial and international accounting. He has advised MBA teams in case competitions, including the National Black MBA Association, KeyBank/Ohio State, and Howard University events. At North Carolina A&T, he also coordinates student study abroad programs and has led trips to China, Panama, Vietnam, and Thailand. Before academia, he held internal audit roles at Verizon Wireless and Sears and worked in IT consulting at Andersen Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
