Brenda Diaz
Brenda Diaz graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Technological Institute of Chihuahua I, Bachelor of Public Accounting from the University of Advanced Studies, and finally obtained her Bachelor of Education from the Escuela Normal Superior del Estado de Chihuahua. The latter encouraged her to finish a master's degree abroad, obtaining her master's degree in TESOL at Western New Mexico University. Her work experience has been varied from teaching middle and high school in her hometown of Chihuahua, Chihuahua, to opening and connecting people from all over the world. Shortly after starting her career as a teacher, she received an offer to work at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, as head of international relations. It is in this position where she met her current boss, offering her a job and study opportunity in the United States of America for Western New Mexico University. Brenda decided to undertake the trip and take off from her beloved country to follow her dreams, and study for her master's degree. She currently works as International Coordinator for the same institution. Brenda's vocation has been marked by helping and connecting people, and creating various networks and work instruments. She actively encourages women and men of any ethnicity, race, and social class to achieve their academic goals, making Western New Mexico University an open door for all those who want to achieve their dreams abroad with a quality education, accessible to all.
