Carmeisha Huckleby is the Associate Director for Georgetown-Administered Global Academic Programs. Her primary responsibilities include supporting faculty in program development and overseeing the curricular strategy for Georgetown-Administered undergraduate global academic semester and summer study abroad programs. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Japanese, a Master’s degree in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Postsecondary Education from Michigan State University. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Japan and participated in an Alternative Spring Break program in Ghana. Her experience abroad as a former first-generation, high financial need college student bolstered her interest in international education and commitment to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and access for students.
