Caroline Cully Garbers is the Associate Director of Education Abroad for Exchanges and Global Internships at Georgia Institute of Technology. In her role she oversees the day-to-day operations of outgoing exchange students and those participating in research and internships. Caroline is tasked with managing the relationship with 90+ partner schools. As well, she engages with new and existing employers for opportunities for Georgia Tech students. Caroline has held numerous positions within International Education including being a Faculty Program Director and Experiential Learning Coordinator. In addition, she has held various leadership positions within NAFSA Region VII. Caroline earned a PhD from University of Florida where her research focused on the impacts of service-learning study abroad programs on students and the community. Her current areas of focus include capacity building and accessibility for global internships.
