Associate Director, International Student and Scholars Center
Arizona State University
Academy Coach

Cassandra Clark grew up in a military family, moving frequently throughout her childhood. Through those experiences, along with a transformative study abroad program in college, she developed a passion for connecting with people from around the world. That is how she found her way to international education and has spent nearly 15 years working in the field. During that time, she has worked with both F-1 students and J-1 students and scholars at multiple universities, giving her the opportunity to support not only international students and scholars but also the professional staff who serve them. As an Associate Director at Arizona State University's International Students and Scholars Center (ISSC), Cassandra helps oversee the F-1 student immigration advising team.

She enjoys leading advisor training and development, creating educational resources, and finding ways to simplify complex immigration guidance through clear, practical communication. Cassandra is passionate about helping both students and advisors build confidence in their knowledge and decision-making. She believes some of the best learning happens through thoughtful conversation, practical problem-solving, and creating a space where new professionals feel comfortable asking questions. She believes mentorship and coaching are among the most meaningful ways to grow, learn, and strengthen the international education profession, and she is excited to support Academy participants throughout their professional journeys.
