Chris Cook is the associate director of international travel health and safety at Cornell University. He has been serving in higher education for over 14 years and has held roles as an education abroad professional, risk manager, and study abroad instructor. Chris earned his MA degrees from California State University Long Beach and Florida State University and a graduate certificate in emergency management and homeland security at the University of Central Florida. Today he oversees travel risk policy and institutional emergency response from a position in central administration. Chris serves as a co-chair for the NAFSA EA KC Health and Safety Subcommittee.
