Chris Larkin

Chris has worked international education since 2004 as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Bangladesh and lived in Korea for 8 years teaching Anthropology, Intercultural Communication and EFL. He currently serves as the Assistant Director for International Student and Scholar Services advising on F-1, J-1 and H-1B visas. Previously, he worked at The University of Alabama as an International Student and Scholar Advisor and at Texas A&M University as an International Student Advisor. He is glad to be back in Region III! Chris' involvement in NAFSA includes the Trainer Corps, a NAFSA Academy Trainee, Alabama State Representative, and has just completed his tenure as the Region VII NAFSA Academy Coach. In his spare time, he struggles learning Cantonese.
