Dr. Drew Dexter Ross

Dr. Drew Dexter Ross serves as the Senior Director of Client Services & Student Advising in Arizona State University’s International Students and Scholars Center (ISSC), where they lead advising and immigration compliance efforts for ASU’s F-1 international student population. In this role, they work to help international students navigate the complexities of maintaining their immigration status while connecting them with the resources and support needed to succeed academically and personally.

Prior to joining the ISSC, Drew worked with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at ASU, where they advised scholars from Sub-Saharan Africa and supported their academic, professional, and personal development. They hold a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University and a Master of Arts in International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.

Drew’s passion for international education began during three years teaching English in American Samoa. That experience sparked their commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds and fostering inclusive educational environments. Throughout their career, Drew has focused on creating supportive, student-centered experiences that help international students thrive while navigating the academic and regulatory complexities of studying in the United States.
