El pagnier Kay Hudson, MS

E Kay ("EK") has been part of the Human Resources industry for over 29 years. As Senior Vice President for HR at Florida International University, EK is a member of the President’s Executive Leadership team and is responsible for strategic and innovative leadership of the Division of Human Resources where she oversees all twelve discipline-specific areas of HR. Additionally, she as the inaugural Vice Provost for the Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. In addition to fostering enhanced diversity and inclusion efforts for all groups, this Division also provides oversight in matters associated with Civil Rights Compliance and Accessibility.

She currently serves on several boards including, but not limited to, College and University Professional Association (CUPA-HR) National Office, College and University HR Executives (CUHRE) Consortium, the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, and the Opportunities Industrialization Centers (OIC) of south Florida.

She is a wife, mother of three and grandmother of three.
