Emily Herman

Emily Herman is currently serving as Head of University Relations for MPOWER Financing. She works with over 400 universities in the United States and Canada to provide loan and scholarship opportunities to their students. Emily has extensive experience of over a decade in the EdTech space, building and leading large enrollment and student service teams. She builds global teams across 3 continents with a focus on sales and recruitment. She has an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School (Go Heels!) and studied Communication as an undergrad at UNC-Wilmington. She recently moved back to NC after living in DC, Hong Kong, and Colorado over the past 12 years. She spends most of her personal time with her family; however, she loves dancing, playing tennis, and traveling.
