Gabriela Guzman

Gabriela Guzman is the Program Manager for International Education at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, she manages recruitment for Latin America, advises students on study abroad programs, and serves as a Designated School Official (DSO). Outside of her assigned duties, Gabriela volunteers her time as a selection panelist for the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship and the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS). She also serves on the Forum on Education Abroad’s 2026 Annual Conference Committee. Her diverse background includes interning at the US Embassy in Moscow and working as a financial compliance officer. Gabriela holds a Master’s in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s in Russian Area Studies with an Environmental Studies minor from Wellesley College. She has studied abroad nine times as a student, and once as a staff member.
