Heather H. Ward

Heather H. Ward is associate provost for global affairs at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she leads strategic initiatives and operations for UNC Global Affairs. Ward has advanced internationalization and global engagement in previous roles with the American Council on Education, George Mason University, and Mary Baldwin University. She has served as a senior associate for internationalization at ACE, and has been an invited speaker for Fulbright Portugal and U.S. Embassies in  Bogotá, Buenos Aires, and Quito. She is the recipient of a Fulbright-Nehru award (India). Ward holds a B.A. in Latin American Studies and Spanish Language from Vanderbilt University and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University.
