Hilary E. Kahn, PhD, is associate vice chancellor for international affairs at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and associate vice president of international affairs at Indiana University. She is also an Associate Professor of Anthropology, editor for the Framing the Global book series with IU Press, Chair of the Executive Committee and Inaugural Member of the National Academy of International Education, as well as a member of APLU’s Commission of International Initiatives Executive Committee. Kahn received her doctorate in anthropology from the University of Buffalo and is the author of multiple publications, including four books. Her areas of expertise include global learning, visual anthropology, global research studies, transnational identities, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the internationalization of higher education.
