Jackie Wong
Jackie serves as the Director of International Student and Scholar Services at the University of Central Florida, where he is the university’s expert on immigration compliance and regulatory matters for all F-1 and J-1 visa holders. In this role, he provides strategic leadership for international student and scholar services, oversees SEVIS compliance, and advises university leadership on federal immigration policy and risk management. He supervises a team of advisors and serves as UCF’s primary liaison to federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of State and the Department of Homeland Security.
Prior to UCF, Jackie held leadership roles at the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on immigration advising, systems integration, and policy implementation. He is a graduate of the NAFSA Academy for International Education and a frequent presenter on immigration compliance and advising best practices. He holds a Master of International Affairs from The Pennsylvania State University.
