Ji-Yeung Jang, PhD, is Assistant Vice President for Global Affairs at Rutgers University where she provides leadership to promote globalization through creating and fostering activities and initiatives that support global teaching, experiential learning, global diversity and inclusion, and research and engagement throughout the university. Jang provides leadership to develop global strategy, manage international strategic partnerships, advance strategic planning and policy development, cultivate relationships with domestic and international alumni pertinent to the global mission, and advise and support global taskforces and committees. With a PhD in Comparative and International Development Education from the University of Minnesota, Jang aspires to strengthen the global capacity and network of higher education institutions and promote transformative educational opportunities for all. Jang was the 2022 Chair of NAFSA’s Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship Knowledge Community (TLS KC).
