Jim Brosam II

Jim Brosam II is a higher education leader with more than 20 years in international education and university advancement. He founded Jameson Global in 2015, which advises institutions on global recruitment, alumni engagement, and advancement. A doctoral candidate (ABD) at the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign, his research explores global fundraising, philanthropy perceptions, and training for international educators. Brosam has led recruitment and study abroad programs in over 40 countries and frequently presents at NAFSA conferences. He helped launch NAFSA’s International Alumni and Advancement interest group and co-coordinated the International Educators of Illinois Mentorship Program (2023–25). His expertise includes strategic planning, budget management, communications, and integrated marketing.
