Jon Hibbard

Jon Hibbard is assistant director of academic integration and global learning in Northeastern University’s Global Experience Office, where he supports the academic dimensions of education abroad, exchange, and faculty-led programs. His work focuses on course articulation, curricular alignment, academic operations, and process improvement. With more than 10 years of experience in education abroad across three universities, Hibbard has advised students, taught French, and helped connect global opportunities to academic planning. He is particularly interested in the thoughtful use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education and explores how it can strengthen academic operations, resource development, and support for faculty, staff, and students.
