Julie Olsen

Julie Olsen currently serves as Senior Director, Foundation Relations at the University of Arkansas.  Prior to her recent appointment, she served for 5 ½ years as Director of Development for the university’s Graduate School and International Education leading the unit’s fundraising and international alumni engagement efforts for the university’s $1 billion campaign, Campaign Arkansas. Olsen has been a member of the university’s development staff since January 2013 and previously served as a major gift officer for the university’s College of Engineering and College of Education of Health Professions.  

Olsen has over twenty years of professional fundraising experience in both higher education and non-profit organizations with expertise in strategic planning, annual fund and major gift fundraising, alumni engagement, marketing and communications, and volunteer and board development. 

Olsen is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Northwest Arkansas Chapter and CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education).
