Kendra Hossain-Morehead

Kendra serves as Director of International Student & Scholar Services within the Office of Global Engagement at Drake University. Her role includes ensuring compliance of F and J visa regulations on Drake’s campus (as the PDSO and RO), helping international students and visiting scholars adjust to Drake’s campus and life in the U.S., and serving as an advocate for international students across campus and within the Des Moines area. She also coordinates the Intensive English Program, which provides English instruction for students interested in improving their English skills or learning more about American culture. Prior to her time at Drake, she served as both Program Coordinator and Assistant Director of International Student Services at the College of Wooster. Kendra’s degrees include an M.A. in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute and a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Evansville. She is a graduate of NAFSA Academy Class 14, a current Trainer Corps member, and the Region IV KC ISSS Representative.
