Kevin Hyunjae Sung is an International Development Specialist of the Northern Nevada International Center (NNIC) at the University of Nevada, Reno. Originally from South Korea, Kevin came to the U.S. to study ESL at the Intensive English Language Center (IELC) at UNR. After completing the ESL program as a conditional admission student, Kevin was admitted to UNR and earned his bachelor's degree in International Affairs. Kevin worked at the IELC as a Student Support Specialist on his Post-Completion OPT and became interested in International Education. After completing his OPT, Kevin entered the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and earned his master's degree in International Education Management. He worked on various international exchange programs including a short-term faculty-led program and the U.S. Department of State's public diplomacy international exchange programs at NNIC as an International Exchanges Program Coordinator on his CPT and Post-Completion OPT. Kevin now as the International Development Specialist develops international exchange program opportunities with domestic and international partners. Kevin also serves as a Nevada State Advisory Committee member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and a Rising Professional of the Public Diplomacy Council of America.
