Kiki Caruson, PhD

Vice President, USF World; Senior International Officer
University of South Florida

Kiki Caruson is the Vice President for USF World and the Senior International Officer for the University of South Florida (USF). She is responsible for the university’s global activities and its international engagement strategy across the Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee campuses. Her responsibilities include management of study abroad programming, global learning initiatives, international admissions, international student and scholar support services, immigration compliance for students and employees, mutually beneficial international partnerships, the Global Data Discovery Hub, initiatives that support research and scholarly mobility, Fulbright and Peace Corps programming, international alumni outreach, as well as philanthropic and development activities.  Under her leadership, USF has achieved national recognition for excellence in global research, teaching, student success, and outreach. She is active in both NAFSA and AIEA and is a member of the Executive Committee of the APLU Commission on International Initiatives.

Dr. Caruson received an undergraduate degree from Smith College, a master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and a doctoral degree from the University of Georgia.
