Kumiko Yabe Domingo

Yabe Domingo serves as Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs at Hawaiʻi Tokai International College. She previously held leadership roles at the institution as Director of International Programs (2010–2018) and brings additional faculty experience from Tokai University’s International Education Center, where she served as Assistant Professor from 2018 to 2021.With more than 20 years of experience in international education, Yabe is deeply committed to advancing student success and cross-cultural learning. She holds a BA in American Literature from the University of the Ryukyus in Japan and an MA in Theatre from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
