Lara Pfaff
Lara Pfaff currently works as a Business Analyst, Sr at the University of Arizona's International Student Services. In this role, she provides functional support for sunapsis and other systems, serving as a central liaison between business users and University IT. Her primary focus is on analyzing, developing, and implementing comprehensive business processes to enhance services for international students. With over a decade of experience in the field, Lara has held roles such as International Student Advisor, Program Coordinator for International Student Development, and Program Director for Project Development. These positions have allowed her to develop expertise in business analysis, digital communication, international student advising, and program development. Before her time at the University of Arizona, Lara pursued a joint Erasmus Mundus Master of Arts in Applied Ethics, studying at both Linköping University in Linköping, Sweden, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway. Her commitment to the international community led her to volunteer as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest Refugee Resettlement Program. Deeply rooted in the international education community, Lara had the privilege to serve as the 2023 Chair for NAFSA Region II.
