Laura Valeri

Laura has worked in international education for over 10 years, first at Kaplan International, a major ESL school, then as an International Student and Scholar Advisor at Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey, and more recently at New York University in the Office of Global Services, which serves over 20 thousand international students. She recently joined the Global Engagement team at Santa Clara University as Assistant Director for International Students and Scholars.

She has also served within the NAFSA Region X Leadership team as Advocacy Coordinator from 2019 to 2022. She presented at several NAFSA Regional Conferences and participated in mentoring and career counseling programs during NAFSA Regional and National Conferences. 

Laura holds two Master's degrees from NYU, one in International Affairs and one in Translation and Interpreting.
