Laure currently works as an international student and scholar advisor at Wayne State University. In addition to her daily advising responsibilities as a DSO and ARO, she advises TN and H-1B employees and regularly organizes events for WSU's international community. She has presented on various topics related to U.S. immigration and international education both at local and regional conferences.

Prior to becoming an advisor, Laure taught ESL and French for 10+ years at various universities across the U.S. She received her Bachelor’s in English from the Université de Nice Sophia-Antipolis, France, her Master’s in Teaching English as a Second Language from the Pennsylvania State University and her Ph.D. in French Language and Literature from SUNY Buffalo.
