Madalyn Petherick

Maddie Petherick is an International Student Advisor at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where she focuses on immigration advising and supporting a large international student community. Her commitment to the field began as a student, when she participated in four study abroad programs, including an extended and formative experience in Vietnam.

Maddie has attended numerous NAFSA conferences throughout her career, each one strengthening her confidence, expanding her professional network, and connecting her with some of the most inspiring colleagues in the field. She is honored to serve on the Region X Leadership Team and excited for the opportunity to give back to NAFSA and the community that has shaped her professional journey. Outside of work, she can usually be found flying planes, hiking, baking sourdough, or attempting DIY projects under the watchful eye of her two cats.
