Maddy Kemp-de Vega

Maddy Kemp-de Vega is an International Student Advisor and Coordinator for the J-1 Student and Exchange Visitor Program at the University at Buffalo's International Student Services (ISS) Office. With an undergraduate degree in Spanish and art minor from Skidmore College, Maddy has a deep appreciation for creative thought and personal expression. Before obtaining her master's degree in Higher Education at Canisius University, she had the opportunity to both travel abroad and live in Madrid, Spain, which transformed how she views the world. Maddy’s passion for supporting international students as they transition is evident by the care and attention she gives to each interaction. In her free time, Maddy enjoys getting outside, creating art, and spending quality time with friends.
