Matthew Loehrer holds a master’s degree in international education with a specialization in teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) and a BA in History. He currently works at the University of California-San Francisco as lead immigration adviser. Matthew previously served on Region XII's leadership team as regulatory ombud and KC ISSS regional liaison. He has also served as a member of the Current Issues Sessions Working Group. He has been a member of Trainer Corps since 2020 and has presented a number of times at both regional and national NAFSA conferences.
