Melanie Dorado Wilson

Melanie Dorado Wilson, Dean of Academic Affairs at Windward Community College, is committed to international education, culturally relevant pedagogy, and global engagement. Her professional experience includes work in Indigenous-serving institutions in the U.S. and international educational settings, which informs her approach to education abroad and global learning. She holds an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology and Distance Education, an M.S. in Educational Technology, and a B.A. in International Public Administration with a focus on Latin American Studies and a minor in French. She actively advances collaboration, advocacy, and professional networking in international education across the Hawaiʻi–Pacific region.
