Michael Kung
Dr. Kung is the Director for the Office for Global Research Engagement and an Assistant Scholar at the University of Florida International Center. A triple alumnus of UF, he previously served as Director of Global Education and Program Director for the Sustainable Design Master's program at UF's College of Design, Construction and Planning before transitioning to the International Center. His research spans international education, cultural studies, educational technology, and sustainability, enriched by extensive experience in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the MENA region. Dr. Kung previously completed a Fulbright IEA in Taiwan, leads study abroad programs on sustainability in Greece and Scandinavia, and is an affiliate faculty member with the department of Engineering Education (HWCOE) and the Florida Institute for Built Environment Resilience (DCP). His scholarly contributions include publications and presentations across North America and Asia, and he serves as a guest reviewer for multiple international journals as well as federal agencies such as the National Science Foundation.
