Mohamed Farag

Mohamed is the Assistant Vice President of Student Health at Alliant Insurance Services, specializing in group medical plans for international and domestic students. He works with colleges and universities to design cost-effective, high-quality student health insurance plans that align with institutions' health and wellness goals.

Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Mohamed came to the U.S. through the AFS/YES Program, an exchange scholarship initiative, before earning his degree in International Business with a minor in Political Science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. As a former international student, he understands the unique challenges students face when navigating the U.S. healthcare system and is committed to making coverage accessible, affordable, and seamless.

Fluent in Arabic and English, Mohamed collaborates with institutions to reduce administrative burdens, enhance student benefits, and ensure compliance.
