Dr. Paulina Brouder brings over two decades of experience in international education and student mobility to her role as director of study abroad and international partnerships at the University of Missouri. Since joining International Programs in 2008, Dr. Brouder has been instrumental in expanding global learning opportunities and fostering cross-cultural engagement for students. She earned her Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Missouri in 2015, and holds both a master’s degree in communication and a bachelor’s degree in tourism from the University of Central Missouri.

A native of Sweden, Dr. Brouder moved to the United States in 1992 and is fluent in both Swedish and English. She is deeply committed to the transformative power of international education and has traveled extensively to develop partnerships and support students abroad.  Dr. Brouder is passionate about helping students grow through immersive, intercultural experiences and is dedicated to advancing equitable access to study abroad opportunities for all.
