Born and raised in Ghana and enriched by extensive experiences in Namibia, South Africa, and the USA, Phil S. Agbeko's global perspective is deeply rooted in his multicultural background. He is committed to increasing the visibility and accessibility of study abroad programs that illuminate Africa's unique experiential learning opportunities.
Alongside fellow diaspora African classmates from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, Mr. Agbeko co-founded Hilltop Global Group. Driven by the mission to "Shape the African Narrative," the firm excels in facilitating transformative academic engagements and forging strategic cross-continental partnerships. Hilltop's innovative approach enhances mutual knowledge exchange between U.S. and international universities and Africa's dynamic educational ecosystem.
Mr. Agbeko's eclectic professional journey spans international development, engineering, sales, and information technology. He began his career at the World Bank Group, significantly contributing to capacity building initiatives for SMEs in Southern Africa. His over 15 years as a technology executive in Fortune 500 companies have sharpened his leadership skills, managing large, dispersed teams and overseeing multi million-dollar budgets.
