Renee Lamb, MA
Renée Lamb is an Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, a recipient of the Fulbright U.S. Scholars award, and the founder of Soulié, an artisan-based social enterprise. Her work focuses on identifying opportunities to increase personal capacity, foster poverty reduction, and implement culturally sensitive development through education, informative design, conscious consumerism, and global citizenship. She has lived and worked throughout the U.S. as well as in Egypt, India, Switzerland, and Italy. Her design work has been featured by both national and international press outlets including Vogue Paris and Yoga Journal. Lamb holds a Post Graduate Certificate from Parsons School of Design, an M.A. from The Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. and a B.A. from North Carolina State University. She is currently in the final stages of a Ph.D. at Virginia Commonwealth University, which focuses on the intersections of MENA-based study abroad programming and global citizenship development.
